Tell us a little about yourself?
I am from an Arabian background but brought up up in the UK for most of my life. I like structure and seamless lines, I love architecture and typography, I also love vibrant colours and a bit of bling!
How did you become a photographer?
After graduating with a degree in Graphic Design, I was freelancing for various agencies. I had a client who randomly asked me one day if I’d take her wedding pictures, after seeing my editorial and product images – and the rest is history as they say.

How many weddings do you photograph average per year?
25 – 30.
What is the best part of your job?
Oh so many things! If I’d had to pick one thing, as cliché as it my sound;- making new friends. Im very blessed to meet such wonderful clients who now have become friends. Also when I started as solo business woman, I never realised I would make such great friends with people in the wedding industry. I have met some amazing photographers which makes me happy to say we are great friends as well as associates.
What do you find is most challenging about your job?
Every shoot is a challenge. I am a perfectionist. I’m constantly pushing myself seeing what angle I can take, looking for available light and trying to rock a pose that would make the bride and groom feel comfortable.

What is your favorite photography accessory other than your camera?
Hmmm. Lenses? Cant shoot without a good range of lenses, and I shoot all prime, (bar the 70-200 IS f/2.8 – my paparazzi lens I call it!)
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
“Just because you can shoot everything dosnt mean you should” - Jasmine Star
A photographer that inspires you?
In terms of marketing and branding, Jasmine Star is killing it! The works of New York photographer Ryan Brenizer who came up with a whole new way of shooting and subsequently been called ‘The Brenizer method’ I recently met UK based photographer Adam Alex, his posing and lighting techniques are insane his passion for his work really comes across. I am also very much inspired by an awesome cinematographer Kevin Shahinian from Pacific Pictures. When I clicked onto his website and saw his work, it blew me away.

A website or blog you visit often?
Jasmine Star – It looks like a fashion mag!
How do you see yourself 5 years from now?
On the beach somewhere! Honestly I am very excited about the future. There are many things on the horizon, I am extremely ambitious and aim to shoot more weddings internationally.
If not a photographer, what would you have been?
Graphic Designer, or somewhere within the creative industry .

Why did you choose Flosites and what have they done for you?
I knew I wanted to rebrand and get my name out there to show people what and who I am about. It was a very easy decision, their reputation spoke for itself. And after speaking to Ross on skype who has such a calming nature, instinctively I knew this would work. I cannot thank Flosites enough! They have been fantastic all the way through. They really listened to what I was about and understood the kind of product and visual identity I was looking for. The results are that I now have a super stylish yet funky website that fits my style and character to a T.
