The Black Car Bandits were brought to the station this morning by the Pineville City Marshall. Soon afterwards, Squirrel's fiance April drove up in the shiny repaired car. The team at Advanced Motors actually took the car to repair the damage done in a recent wreck, and we were there to document everything.

**..**]]> Who stole Squirrel's car? http://markeric.com/index.php?link=73 http://markeric.com/index.php?link=73 Tue, 29 Jul 2008 08:36:13 -0700 I'm shooting some promo material this week for Cenla Broadcasting. While at the station yesterday, I heard the story of how Squirrel's car was stolen last Friday by the "Black Car Bandits". Click here to read about it on Q93's website. The car had been wrecked the same week. The "BCB" left a note telling Squirrel not to call the cops, because his car was in good hands. They have also been sending clues to the station to give him hints on the car's location. One of the clues included a picture that they snapped after jacking the car.

So, I thought I may be able to provide Squirrel with a little more info using the picture. Photoshop is not only good for editing pictures, it can also tell you much about a picture- like what kind of camera was used to create it. It looks like the bandits used a Canon A560 to shoot the picture. I also zoomed in a little, only to get a good laugh at their mad editing skills. It looks like they used Microsoft Paint to draw a smiley face on the driver.

The reception was a blast, with a mix of different cultures. The playlist went from Latin (for Sandra's family) to Zydeco (for Alan's family), it was a real treat to watch. Congrats you two!

So I joined them at Antoine's in New Orleans. I was able to edit a few while in the Hotel that night. I'll post more from the wedding day soon (2 other fabulous weddings to post before theirs).

I loved working with this couple because they are both very creative artists! (I love working with other creatives). Of course, I always enjoy sharing the couple's story with our readers and since Warren proposed in an artistic way, I'm sure you guys will enjoy hearing their story. First off, they met by chance on a Southwest Airlines flight which they sat next to each other on. After falling madly in love, Warren painted a picture of Heather to show her one night. He placed the engagement ring on her hand in the picture. When she noticed the beautiful ring in the painting, he was already in position to pop the question.
